I Started Fighting Crime

(this comic strip is made in a classic comic-book style. It features a protagonist with a red bun tied loosely on the crown of her head, opaque sunglasses and a leather cat suit. It is made of of five panels.)

PANEL 1

The progagonist takes up the entire frame. She looks fearsome. She points a gun into the air with her left hand and at the viewer with her right. Her eyes cannot be seen through her sunglasses, but she appears to be staring the viewer down.

Caption top left: I got it off lovehoney. The 25% student discount swayed me.

Speech bubble 1: “Out of the box, it slit through my fingers fluid, pooling at my feet”

Speech bubble 2: “Inbetween my toes, a space that had never been kissed"

Speech bubble 3: “Falling up my legs, vertical drips, natural animation that would not have been magic were I upside down, turning all in it’s path night”

Speech bubble 4: “Wrapping around my thighs, the fluid found it’s way in the space between, a cool black pool of ink-”

Speech bubble 5: “-it hardened and I was encased.”

Caption bottom right: Hey Girl, why don’t you come over?

Panel 2

The panel is cut in half, with a line through the middle dividing it into two images on the top and bottom. The top image is black, with light grey sketch lines outlining a female body. It slightly reminiscent of a Rorschach Test.

Caption top left: Can’t :( sorry. I’m busy

Caption center right: Breaking ribs

Caption bottom left: Crackin’ skulls.

The bottom half of the panel is a zoom-in on the previous panel’s image of the protagonist pointing the gun.

Speech bubble 1: “It was undeniably hot, the get-up. It was incidental.”

Panel 3

This panel is divided into six images, not all of the same size. They focus on the suit itself, as well as the protagonist. The images are as follows:

  1. a female body in leather suit, face cut off, hand on hip, gun held in other hand.

  5. an illustration of a woman wearing the leather suit throwing herself backwards off a building as though she is falling onto a bed. Her ankles are together, but her arms are spread widely in a T. Her face is peaceful.

Panel 4

The panel is divided evenly in three, vertically.

  1. a woman (not protagonist) with low ponytail, is wearing the leather suit

  2. a purple infrared image of what can only be assumed to a lare of a villain. There is a woman being loomed over by a tall male shadow at the bottom, and what appear to be tentacles above her.

  3. a black and white female body, in a different illustration than previous. It is more cartoonish, with thicker lines and pixilated imagery.

The panel is divided into three vertical sections, just like the previous.
